NEWS & EVENTS

Our AKS Newsletter is now out...Pick up yours at the front desk at the school...or just click here for our Newsletter or to the right...or, if you are not a current AKS student, ask us to mail you one by "Clicking Here" or just go to the "Contact Us" button on the right and fill out the information form. 

BELT PROMOTIONS will be held on the following dates:   Dyna-Tots, Juniors and Adults-March 19th.  Alternate Belt Promotions for Juniors will be Sat--March 20th at 10 am.   Te-Geri promotions are the week of March 15th.

ST. PATRICK'S DAY CLOSING:  AKS will be closed Wednesday, March 17th for St. Patrick's Day.  Missed classes may be made up at your earliest convenience.

WILL BE CLOSED ON THE FOLLOWING HOLIDAYS IN 2010:

Martin Luther King’s Birthday:  Monday, January 18th

President’s Day:  Monday, February 15th (We will be cleaning and doing maintenance with our school if needed…any help would be greatly appreciated!)

St. Patrick's Day:  Wednesday, March 17th (McGlynn's fills the parking lot!)

Easter Weekend: Friday and Saturday, April 2nd & 3rd

Memorial Day Weekend:  Friday, Saturday, and Monday; May 28th, 29th & 31st 

Independence Day :  Saturday & Monday, July 3rd & 5th

Labor Day Weekend:  Friday, Saturday, and Monday: September 3rd, 4th & 6th 

Thanksgiving Day Weekend:  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; November 25th, 26th & 27th    

Christmas / New Years:  Friday, December 24th thru January 1st, 2011

 *Note:  Due to our closing days for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years, we will count and deduct that time as only one (1) week off your program (if applicable). 

**Note:  Please remember, if you are going to be absent from your classes during any of the above weeks, call us for an ‘extension’ on your program (if applicable).
